Resume Fonts and Font Size

Having seen thousands of resumes over the years, we are experts in crafting marketing materials that stand out. Your resume is the most important branding pieces in your job search and should be instantly reflective of your competitive edge and advantages.

While the substance of your resume is paramount, readability is also critically important. Font choice and font size matter. Choose a font that is conservative and professional. We prefer Helvetica and Calibri, sans serif fonts, which are generally larger and easier to read than Times New Roman (a smaller, serif font, and quite over used). Utilizing larger font types in no less ten 10 point size for your resume will allow the largest possible audience ease in reading all the value that you have to offer!

Most people cannot easily read small type. So the smallest your resume font should be is 10 point.
