We previously blogged about power posing and Harvard Business School’s Professor, Amy Cuddy’s, insightful TED Talk on body language, “Your Body Language Shapes Who You Are.” If you haven’t watched the video, take the opportunity to do so. Research shows that not only does our body language govern how other people think and feel about us, but also how we feel and think about ourselves. “Power posing” (assuming a high power stance) for just two minutes resets your body’s testosterone and cortisol levels. Take two minutes to privately power pose before your next big pitch, presentation, or job interview and see how it can improve your confidence and how others perceive you.
