Many of you may be familiar with Amy Cuddy’s incredibly popular TED Talk from 2012 in which the social psychologist at Harvard Business School advises that everyone should spend two minutes power posing. Her studies have shown that adopting certain “power” poses change a person’s internal state and make them more powerful. Whether you’re heading into an important meeting or going on a job interview, don’t forget to strike a powerful pose in private for 2 minutes before the important event in order to improve your performance.
